A weekend in the country.

  • Check in to your room above the square. Cocktails at the Sky Cafe as the sun drops behind the courthouse.

  • Breakfast downstairs, then a morning on the Rock Island Trail. An afternoon on Lake of the Ozarks. Dinner at the regional restaurant.

  • Coffee on the balcony. The farmers market on the square opens at nine. You don't leave until the afternoon.

  • Wedding weekends, conference retreats, family reunions, anniversary dinners, the farmers market, the holiday tree lighting, the summer concert series. The hotel is the anchor for a town that's always had something going on.

Our story

How we got here.

A long road from North Dakota to Texas to Nevada and finally to a small town in central Missouri.

In 2022, God brought us to Missouri. Originally from North Dakota, I spent most of my life in Texas and the last decade in Nevada. But God brought us to Missouri.

Why this, why here

God put us here for a reason. The Versailles Main Station Hotel is more than a place to stay, it is a tribute to the historic city of Versailles. Nestled near the scenic Lake of the Ozarks, this project brings together timeless architecture and upscale accommodations, driven by local pride and shared prosperity.

What we are building

A hotel with sixty to eighty elegant rooms, a 5,000 square-foot restaurant, an exclusive Sky Cafe with panoramic views of the city square, and four to seven retail shops covered by balconies. In Phase 2, a 12,000 square-foot convention center for weddings, conferences, and large events, plus a pool and fitness center.

Every element is designed to enhance both the visitor experience and the local economy.
